Painter

from acron.hud import Painter
class Painter

Bases: object

The drawing calls an instrument makes — raster pixels, y growing DOWN.

Two implementations ship. Raster rasterises the calls onto a card; RecordPainter writes them down. An instrument drawn through this interface is therefore checkable against whatever it was ported from with no window, no GPU and no screenshot: the arithmetic that decides where a tick, a needle or a blip goes is data, and data can be compared.

Colours are (r, g, b) or (r, g, b, a) in 0..1. Angles are radians, measured the way a 2D canvas measures them: 0 at +x, growing toward +y, which is DOWN.
