acron.parallax

ParallaxLayer – background layers that scroll slower/faster than the world.

Godot’s ParallaxBackground/ParallaxLayer: a layer with motion_scale m appears to scroll at m times the camera speed. In world terms the layer node is offset by camera * (1 - m) – m=1 is a normal world-locked layer, m=0 is glued to the screen. motion_mirroring repeats the layer content every (mx, my) pixels for endless backgrounds (the content is duplicated once per axis; the offset wraps).

Parent layers under the canvas root; call ParallaxWorld.update() with the camera centre each render frame.

ParallaxLayer(canvas_root[, motion_scale, ...])

One layer, offset by camera * (1 - motion_scale) and wrapped by mirroring.

ParallaxWorld()

Holds layers; fan out the camera centre to each.
